Introducción a las tecnologías de la información

This course presents a basic vocabulary in the matter of computer hardware and software, shows the application of information and communication technologies in the organizational field, and reveals new trends in their application.

In terms of software development, it exposes the syntax of a general-purpose, object-oriented programming language and exercises its practice to implement simple-medium complexity algorithms. It also presents the basic principles of object-orientation (abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism), and guides its application in computer program development.
